Travelers are certainly going to want to get their hands on all the new content that arrived with the new patch, so we've created this handy guide to be your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about No Man's Sky's Interceptor update.

How To Find Corrupted Worlds

Everything in the Interceptor update can be found on the new Corrupted planets. These worlds have strange purple crystals erupting from their surfaces that have infected the local Sentinels, mutating them into dangerous new forms and causing Sentinel Interceptors to fall out of the sky.

There are a few ways of finding Corrupted worlds, but the simplest is to bring up the Galactic map and search for a "Dissonant" star system. This information should be viewable so long as your ship or Freighter has a Conflict Scanner equipped.

Dissonant systems without life won’t have Corrupted planets. Make sure the system isn’t uninhabited before you warp there.

Once you arrive in the Dissonant system, scan each planet until you find one that has the description "Corrupted Sentinels." This description replaces terms that normally describe whether the Sentinels present are "aggressive," "frenzied", or "high-security."

Another way of finding Corrupted planets is through the new Dreadnought AI Fragment, which can be obtained by destroying Sentinel Dreadnoughts.

For information on how to destroy Sentinel Dreadnoughts, check out this guide.

Where To Find Sentinel Multi-Tools

Sentinel Multi-Tools can be found in Harmonic Camps--once-inhabited encampments where the residents have all mysteriously vanished. These Harmonic Encampments can be found by searching Corrupted planets or by destroying Corrupted Sentinels until one drops an Echo Locator.

Finding Corrupted Sentinels on a Corrupted World is relatively straightforward. Drones will appear on your Analysis Visor, or you could get one to come to you by mining Radiant Shards or picking up a Gravitino Ball.

Once combat with the Corrupted Sentinels has begun, simply keep destroying Sentinels until an Echo Locator appears in your inventory. Note that Echo Locators are random drops, so it might take a few waves before you find one.

For intel on the new Corrupted Sentinels and how to beat them, check out this guide.

The new Sentinel Multi-Tool can be found in the Multi-Tool cabinet beside the ruins of the main building. The cabinet is locked by a forcefield that must be disabled by interacting with the Harmonic Interface and solving a brief puzzle.

For info on how to solve the puzzle and claim your Sentinel Multi-Tool, check out this guide.

Once the lockdown has lifted, return to the cabinet to claim your Sentinel Multi-Tool. To unlock its full capabilities, you will need to repair the Sentinel Multi-Tool using resources found on Corrupted planets.

Unlike other Multi-Tools, Sentinel Multi-Tools are not procedurally generated. Every rifle or pistol-style Sentinel Multi-Tool will look the same, although each will have slightly different stats and different supercharged equipment slots.

How To Unlock The Sentinel Jetpack - Aeron Turbojet

The new Sentinel jetpack cosmetic, the Aeron Turobjet, can be found by unlocking any Harmonic Terminal at any Harmonic Camp. You should have already unlocked the Aeron Turbojet if you’ve obtained a Sentinel Multi-Tool.

How To Find Crashed Sentinel Interceptors

Sentinel Interceptors are powerful new ships that feature unique Sentinel technology that makes them more maneuverable than other starships. Sentinel Interceptors can also hover in atmosphere, something that no other starship can do.

There are several ways of finding a crashed Sentinel Interceptor:

Use a Dreadnought AI Fragment

These can be found by destroying Sentinel Dreadnoughts

Unlock Harmonic Terminal

After ending the lockdown of a Harmonic Camp, you can ask the main terminal for the coordinates of a nearby crashed Interceptor

Defeat Five Waves of Corrupted Sentinels

Destroying all Corrupted Sentinels after achieving the maximum wanted level will cause a Dissonance Spike which will reveal the location of a crashed Interceptor

Get Coordinates From Other Travelers

Use resources like the No Man’s Sky Coordinate Exchange to obtain the coordinates of crashed Interceptors
