How To Play Peg-E Dice Drop
Collect Tokens From Other Events
Before you can play the Peg-E Dice Drop event, you'll need to first earn chips elsewhere in Monopoly Go. Though you start with ten free chips, you can earn more by:
- Playing in the center banner events during the course of the Peg-E event, which will be the Icy Spectacle banner through the duration of this Prize Drop iteration.
- Competing in daily leaderboard tournaments off to the right of your screen, pitting you against 99 other players to earn milestone rewards with tons of chips as one of the numerous prizes.
- Collecting your in-store reward that refreshes every eight hours and includes free Peg-E chips while the events are active.
- Finishing the daily quick wins, which are three simple tasks (such as rolling doubles, building up your board, etc.) that reward you with free dice, colored sticker packs, cash, and more when you collect the rewards on them. They currently refresh at 8AM EST.
- Hitting the bumpers on the Peg-E board when they're showing token icons. We seem to have a few different amounts possible as rewards!
Drop Chips To Earn Points Toward Rewards
As always with the Peg-E Prize Drop events in Monopoly Go, you'll need to choose a multiplier and then drop chips down the pachinko board into the slots at the bottom to earn points this time around. Scopely seems to like to keep refreshing how the game boards look, and this time, we've got two prize bumpers without many pegs around them, but beware of all the small pegs right above the point slots at the bottom of the board.
The two bumpers seem to offer different prize payouts from one another, too. There are multiple iterations of the same prize (more dice rolls, more tokens, etc.) that appear with different counts on each bumper. For example, when we began the event, you can see in the photo above that we had two different bumpers offering extra Peg-E chips, with one at a higher payout value than the other. This stays consistent between different rewards, with each having a higher and lower value, it seems.
This time around, Peg-E seems to be focused on giving dice rolls as rewards, with the grand prize on the first page of rewards in the Peg-E Dice Drop event today being 500 free dice rolls. You'll also earn plenty of additional dice on the way there, and you can drop as many chips as you can get your hands on until the event times out at 7:30AM EST on January 24. Any remaining tokens at that time are converted to cash.
