Marvel's Midnight Suns: 8 Things To Do After You Beat The Game

Midnight Suns is already an extremely long game, taking an average of 60 hours for the story alone. Add to this completing general missions and exploring the Abbey, and these two factors will increase the average to at least ten hours longer. If, after all this, you're still wanting more, there are some things to try out.

Midnight Suns is overflowing with side content that can be completed alongside the narrative or after the endgame. Unlocking and experiencing everything will take a while, so starting now is best to avoid becoming encumbered with objectives.
8 Try Out Different Decks
You can only ever have eight cards in a deck, but you can unlock way more for every character. A big part of the combat is switching around cards in your deck, upgrading them, and adding mods until you settle on a loadout you like. Once you find this perfect deck, there isn't much reason to alter it anymore, as you know what works for you and what doesn't.
A simple way to revitalize the gameplay is to switch out all of your decks, so you're playing different types of cards. Maybe you usually stick with stunning the enemy, in which case use cards that instead focus on increasing damage.
7 Research Everything In The Forge
Once you unlock The Forge, you might as well research something at the beginning of a new day, every day, to complete as many projects as possible. Sometimes story missions require research; for others, you'll need to improve your research level before taking further steps.
Everything can quickly come to a standstill if you don't continue using The Forge to its fullest, so rather than starting up projects right at the end, complete them alongside the story, and clean up the rest after the game.
6 Fully Upgrade The Yard And The War Room
Upgrading facilities is another feature you're unlikely to complete by the final mission. Once you think you're close to upgrading all there is, another one is thrown into the mix, and suddenly you're right back to square one. It's a good thing all Yard and War Room upgrades introduce ways to improve your rewards and bolster your characters' abilities since, at times, they feel never-ending.

It's heavily recommended to go for both research and upgrades simultaneously, as you'll have to research before placing the upgrades on the Abbey Grounds.
5 Spend Remaining Gloss
Gloss earnings depend on mission difficulty, how many rounds were taken to beat it, and how many heroes were KO'd. The better you perform, the more Gloss you earn, although you can sometimes find this currency lying around The Abbey.
Consistently spending any leftover Gloss is easily forgettable once getting into the rhythm of completing missions and going through menial day-to-day tasks. Head into the customization screen or Hunter's quarters, spend any remaining Gloss however you please, and play general missions if you're running low.
4 Solve The Mysteries Of The Abbey
The Abbey is a prominent place containing many mysteries Hunter can solve, although a few things can't be fully completed until the story progresses past a certain point. The first things to do are collect everything needed to unlock all Words of Power, as this will give you free roam across the Abbey map.
Much of the exploration is finding and opening all the legendary arcane chests. Still, you can uncover the mystery of Agatha's Altar, Hiram Shaw's Church, and Lilith's Garden, revealing past events like Agatha and Caretaker's connection to Salem.
3 Complete Hangouts And Max Friendships
Improving friendships gives combat bonuses, and completing hangouts improves these friendships. Get a hero to their highest friendship rank, and you'll unlock their Midnight Sun ability challenge, which can then be equipped straight to their deck. Each of these cards costs a large amount of heroism, but their powerful nature makes them 100% worth obtaining.

Aside from this, you'll also learn more about each character you hang out with, and the closer you get to someone, the more often they'll invite you to come and chill with them. It's a win-win situation.
2 Play General Missions On Heroic Or Ultimate Difficulties
General missions are constantly on the mirror table, so you never have to worry about running short of them. They cover a couple of categories, where you'll often face the same enemies; however, every mission is helmed by a different character allowing you time to try out various team combinations.
Trying out your first Heroic or Ultimate difficulty outing is extremely daunting, especially when looking at the mission overview. You get fewer revives, and enemies do more damage, but you also earn greater rewards. And the best thing is the only way you'll know if you have what it takes is to dive in headfirst and hope you're lucky.
1 Replay On New Game Plus
New Game Plus is always good to go for whenever you're longing for more of the game since you experience it for a second time while carrying over abilities giving you a headstart for the playthrough. Your friendship ranks, hero combos, and, thankfully, all cosmetics carry over to this mode. However, you'll have to obtain items, hero abilities, and Abbey upgrades a second time.
New Game Plus is the perfect excuse to try the next level since you'll be more formidable against the enemy. It'll still be a challenging endeavor filled with all the juicy tactical aspects, although you'll have a greater chance of success.
