White cards in Phyrexia: All Will Be One take a new approach to design from standard Magic: The Gathering sets. Generally considered the color of law, order, and goodness, it now takes on the oppressive control that Elesh Norn and her Machine Orthodoxy wish to spread across the multiverse.

Since Phyrexian forces have taken control of the plane of Mirrodin, most of the best cards from Phyrexia: All Will Be One are from the faction. There are powerful and corrupted creatures, spells reinforcing Elesh Norn’s rule, and a few cards representing the pockets of resistance left on the plane.

10 Hexgold Hoverwings

For Mirrodin! is a new and powerful ability in Phyrexia: All Will Be One that automatically creates a creature token for your equipment to attach to when it enters the battlefield. Hexgold Hoverwings gives all your equipped creatures a small power boost as long as they’re equipped, making this artifact a conditional Anthem-effect for your board.

Giving your creatures a boost can help push some much needed damage in a pinch, and giving your equipped creature flying can put it above your opponent’s creatures.

9 Crawling Chorus

Terrifying art aside, Crawling Chorus is a fantastic one-mana creature. With toxic 1, Crawling Chorus can start the poison clock for your opponent early on, easily capable of adding a poison counter or two if left unchecked. Even if your opponent plays an early blocker, you get to replace Crawling Chorus with a 1/1 Phyrexian Mite token that also has toxic 1.

Crawling Chorus also makes a very efficient creature to sacrifice if you cast a spell that requires it as an extra cost since it replaces itself when it dies.

8 Jawbone Duelist

A two-mana 1/1 might not seem great at first but Jawbone Duelist comes loaded with two abilities that work great with each other. Jawbone Duelist has both toxic 1 and double strike, a potentially deadly combination if used appropriately.

Since toxic will trigger when combat damage is dealt, having double strike means each attack that connects with your opponent will deal out one poison counter.

7 Skrelv's Hive

This little enchantment is a great way to keep the pressure up with an army of Phyrexian Mites. Skrelv’s Hive creates one of these little 1/1 creatures with toxic 1 at the low cost of just one life at the beginning of your turn.

Even better, Skrelv’s Hive grants all your tokens with toxic lifelink, meaning all the tokens you’ve created have a way to recover some of the life lost while making them. Skrelv’s Hive can help you recover your board after a board wipe, or to swarm over the battlefield with your tiny bug army.

6 White Sun's Twilight

The descent of the white sun of New Phyrexia brings with it an army of 1/1 Mites to overwhelm the battlefield. For just two white mana, plus however much extra you want to pay, you gain that much life and make that many Phyrexian Mite tokens.

If you can commit five or more mana to it, for a total of at least seven mana, White Sun’s Twilight becomes a board wipe, destroying all other creatures not created from this spell.

5 Skrelv, Defector Mite

The leader of the Mites of Phyrexia is here, and it's actually pretty good. While Skrelv isn’t a particularly powerful attacker, and nor can it block anything at all, it does have a powerful ability that could help it see play in decks even if they’re not trying to poison out their opponents.

For one Phyrexian white mana, you can tap Skrelv to give another creature toxic 1 and hexproof from a color of your choice, and they can’t be blocked by creatures of that color. This repeatable and instant speed hexproof ability can help your creatures dodge removal spells and push damage through an army of creatures in case of a stalemate.

4 The Eternal Wanderer

As one of the best planeswalkers from Phyrexia: All Will Be One, The Eternal Wanderer is a powerful Stax and control card that can easily command the battlefield. The Eternal Wanderer is very difficult to remove thanks to a zero-cost ability that creates a 2/2 token with double strike, and a passive ability that prevents more than one creature from attacking it at a time.

If you cast The Eternal Wanderer into a board full of creatures, you can safely activate its final ability to force all players to sacrifice all but one creature they control.

3 Phyrexian Vindicator

This powerhouse creature is all but guaranteed to put a stop to your opponent's plans. The restrictive cost of four white mana is a steep price to pay for Phyrexian Vindicator’s ability, but with it, you can set up an iron defense against your opponents.

Whenever Phyrexian Vindicator would take damage, you get to prevent that damage and redirect it to any other target. As an attacker, it ensures that any damage you could deal with Phyrexian Vindicator gets through, and as a blocker, you can target down any difficult attacker.

2 Mondrak, Glory Dominus

Mondrak, Glory Dominus might be more of a Commander card. but it still is exceptionally powerful and could be a key piece for token-based strategies in other formats. Whenever you create any number of tokens, Mondrak lets you create twice that many instead. This ability works with creature tokens, like the Phyrexian Mites that are all over Phyrexia: All Will Be One, and other types of tokens like Treasure tokens too.

If you’re worried about losing Mondrak, you can turn it indestructible at the lost cost of three mana and by sacrificing two other artifacts or creatures, giving you an eternal token doubler that’s difficult to remove.

1 Elesh Norn, Mother Of Machines

The leader of the Machine Orthodoxy herself has arrived in Phyrexia: All Will Be One. This incredibly powerful creature gives you double the value on all your enter-the-battlefield effects across all permanents that would enter the battlefield under your control. This gives you a huge advantage when you play any card that does something when it comes into play.

Even better, Elesh Norn turns off your opponent's enter-the-battlefield effects, in many cases completely shutting down any strategies they might be trying as long as Elesh Norn is in play.
