Summary
- The first cards in Magic: The Gathering's upcoming Spider-Man set have been revealed.

- The Spider-Man set will be released on September 26, 2025.
Magic: The Gathering soft launched its big Marvel crossover with a Secret Lair superdrop in 2024 that introduced some of the latter's superheroes to the former for the first time. Later this year, Marvel will get its first full MTG set centered around Spider-Man, and items from that set are now available to pre-order on Amazon.
The first cards in MTG's upcoming Spider-Man were revealed over the weekend. The card reveals include Spidey himself along with some of the supervillains that call his universe home - Venom, Doc Ock, and Green Goblin. The card reveal came coupled with a release date for the set - September 26, 2025 - and pre-orders are now open even though that release date is still almost seven months away.

From Spider-Man onwards, all Universes Beyond sets will use the same frame as any other Magic: the Gathering card.
PostsPre-orders for the MTG Spider-Man Bundle, Play Booster Box, and Scene Box are all available on Amazon right now, although I imagine they won't be staying that way for long. Pre-orders for the Collector Booster Box also went live at some point between the reveal and now and they're already gone. Odds are the other three items up for grabs will be headed to the same way within the next few days, if not hours.
Magic: The Gathering's Spider-Man Expansion Is On Amazon
Everything Other Than The Sold Out Collector Booster Box
CloseThat means the cheapest item in the Spider-Man set available right now is the Scene Box. The Scene Box includes all six of the cards revealed so far - Spidey, the three villains, and Grasping Tentacles and Pumpkin Bombs cards - all of which come together to make a scene when displayed correctly, hence the name. The box includes an easel to display them along with three booster packs.
via Wizards of the CoastIf you want more than three booster packs, you'll need to get either the bundle or the booster box. Although the booster box is the priciest item in the set so far at $209.70, it does include 30 packs, so a lot of cards to kick off your Spidey set. The bundle is a far more reasonable $69.99 and includes nine boosters along with some other cards and items including a die and a storage box.
The lack of Commander Decks is no accident. Wizards Of The Coast has confirmed its Spider-Man expansion won't have them.
Even though the collector booster box sold out immediately, it has confirmed at least two more characters that will be a part of the set. Spider-Gwen is featured prominently on its packs with Miles Morales swinging in the background. Most would have probably assumed the two most famous Spider-People after Peter Parker would be included in the set, but it's nice to see it confirmed.
