Magic: The Gathering Arena - The 10 Best Creatures In Timeless

Magic: The Gathering Arena's Timeless format is the client's first no-ban format. Every single card that's ever been released on Arena is legal for use in the format from Anthologies to Bonus Sheets and everything in between. No cards are banned in Timeless and instead are restricted to one copy per deck if they prove to be too powerful.

Casting spells, drawing cards, slinging spells. All things these Magic: The Gathering Izzet Commanders love doing.
PostsThere are many powerful creatures in Timeless, with a ton of versatility that many decks can benefit from running. The best creatures in Timeless are easy to cast thanks to low casting costs and are immediately impactful on the game as soon as they hit the battlefield.
10 Omnath, Locus Of Creation
Thanks to fetchlands, having all the mana sources needed to cast Omnath, Locus Of Creation is trivial. The fetchlands also help to trigger Omnath, Locus Of Creation's landfall ability multiple times a turn. When mixed with other cards that give you extra land drops, you can trigger all of Omnath's abilities.
Omnath immediately replaces itself in your hand when it enters the battlefield to keep your card advantage up. Omnath takes a bit to get going, but the lifegain effect helps you recover from the life lost while gathering lands.
9 Delighted Halfling
Delighted Halfling is one of the best mana dorks in Timeless. The benefit of Delighted Halfling compared to other, similar cards is that it can ensure your spell won't be countered. Timeless has a lot of powerful legendary creatures and planeswalkers, and Delighted Halfing almost guarantees they'll hit the battlefield.
Even the colorless mana is relevant, letting you cast spells earlier before you have the land to do so. Many of the most used spells in Timeless have a low mana value, letting you use the extra mana to cast any spell you'd want.
8 Dragon's Rage Channeler
It is very easy to turn on Dragon's Rage Channeler's delirium. It's often played in decks playing a ton of noncreature spells, letting you constantly surveil to dump dead cards into your graveyard and get different card types there.

PostsDragon's Rage Channeler can start making an impact turn one, and can quickly become a flying 3/3 to make it harder to block to get in for more damage. It's best played in tempo decks that stick low-mana creatures on the battlefield and control the game with the rest of their spells.
7 Lurrus Of The Dream-Den
Lurrus Of The Dream-Den is one of the best creatures ever printed, banned in almost every format except Vintage and Historic. Many of the cards that led to Lurrus' ban are legal in Timeless, letting you take full advantage of it.
If you're playing Lurrus, it's almost always going to be as a companion. The strength of Lurrus comes from the fact the best decks that would want to be playing it are already built under the companion restriction, so it slots right in as a free card. Lurrus can keep re-casting spells from your graveyard, notably best with Mishra's Bauble for a free draw engine.
6 Territorial Kavu
Domain Zoo is one of the best decks in Timeless, with Territorial Kavu one of the major reasons for that. It is very easy to make it a 5/5, as you can search your library for the land types you need thanks to the fetchlands in the format.
It turns on Stubborn Denial's ferocious cost so you can counter any noncreature spell for just one mana to keep your spells and permanents safe. 5/5 is an amazing attacker, and Territorial Kavu can swap between graveyard hate against graveyard decks and card draw to get rid of dead cards in your hand to draw into more impactful cards.
5 Uro, Titan Of Nature's Wrath
Another card banned in many formats, Uro, Titan Of Nature's Wrath is one of the best creatures in Timeless. It's easy to cast and replaces itself in the hand when it enters the battlefield while ramping you. Although you need to escape it for it to stick to the battlefield, even just leaving it in the graveyard after the cast from the hand is fine.
Many decks want to put multiple lands on the battlefield each turn, and Uro, Titan Of Nature's Wrath enables those decks. Uro helps you recover from being on the backfoot with the generous and easy-to-activate lifegain.
4 Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer
Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer is the best one-drop in red in Timeless. It's a great turn one and if your opponent doesn't get rid of it or put a creature to block it, Ragavan ramps you quickly while letting you play your opponent's spells. It's statline ensures it will at minimum trade with whatever creature your opponent may play turn one.
Ragavan's dash cost comes up quite a bit, letting you keep it off the battlefield to stay safe from sorcery-based removal spells while still getting in for damage. The Monkey needs to be answered, otherwise you can snowball into a ton of advantage to ensure victory.
3 Deathrite Shaman
In a format with fetchlands, Deathrite Shaman is amazing as it turns those fetchlands into mana of any color. Even if you're not doing this, it's a great midrange card that can either burn or gain life, which is very helpful in the long game.

PostsDeathrite Shaman is fantastic graveyard hate, letting you exile almost every kind of card. This helps you shut off delirium in decks where that is relevant, and exile creatures that would normally want to be in the graveyard. Deathrite Shaman does so much for such little investment, which is why it's one of the best creatures in Timeless.
2 Primeval Titan
Primeval Titan is best when mixed with Field Of The Dead, these two cards making up the core of what is considered to be one of the best decks of Timeless. On cast and every attack gets you two lands onto the battlefield, which Field Of The Dead can turn into 2/2 creature tokens on the battlefield.
Primeval Titan being green makes it easy to cheat out early with Natural Order to put it on the battlefield and start ramping with lands. It has great stats as well, making it both a threat on its own that's powered up by cards around it.
1 Orcish Bowmasters
Brainstorm is one of the best cards in Timeless, and Orcish Bowmasters is the ultimate punish to that card as Orcish Bowmasters turns the three cards drawn from Brainstorm into a 3/3 on the battlefield and three damage coming to any target. Since Orcish Bowmasters has flash, you can punish drawing cards at any point so long as you have the mana for it.
Even if you're not punishing drawing, the creature presence can be strong enough to start pushing in for damage. Other copies of Orcish Bowmasters stack, so the more you have on the battlefield the more punishing any extra draw becomes. There's so much draw power in Timeless, which makes Orcish Bowmasters the best creature in Timeless.
