I love PopCap and everything they do and make. I love them even more now for granting a 9-year-old’s wish.
Owain Weinert put in his request to the Make-A-Wish Foundation: He wanted to make his own videogame. PopCap has helped the 9-year-old, who has been diagonsed with pre-B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, create Allied Star Police, an iOS title. GameSetWatch says that Weinert has been visiting PopCap HQ in Seattle every week to guide them in creating the shooter.
Last night PopCap held a pizza and cake launch party for the game. Look for Allied Star Police on the App Store very soon.
