It’s been a long while since we’ve seen a proper Brothers in Arms game out of Gearbox, the last one being 2008’s Hell’s Highway. But according to studio boss Randy Pitchford, the wait for details on the next one may soon be over.

“We absolutely love the Brothers in Arms series and the next game in the series is currently in development,” he told XG247, “and expect to see and hear about it all very soon.”

Like E3 very soon? Who knows. I can already confirm that Duke Nukem Forever will have a presence at the show, and I feel strongly that Sega is finally dragging Aliens: Colonial Marines out of the closet.

I’m not sure it’s the best idea for Gearbox to be spreading itself out and trying to promote three games at the year’s biggest event. But crazier things have happened… remember when they made Samba de Amigo for the Wii!?
