After watching Game Informer’s recent documentary about Volition, I was all jazzed up about Descent. Descent! What more needs to be said? These feelings quickly changed into those of sadness, but all is well.

GameTrailers has put up a new walkthrough-style video of Red Faction: Armageddon. Level designer Jameson Durall narrates — his first words are “So we have something a little special for all the Descent fans out there …” We then learn that, hey, Red Faction‘s tech is a pretty nice match for that type of game.

Bring back the series after Armageddon ships? Please?
