Practice bridge bidding with the partner you actually play with, on your own
schedule. Pick the auction you want to rehearse, bid it, and get instant
feedback on the contract you reached.
Bidding is the half of bridge you cannot rehearse alone. The auctions that
cause trouble are rare — you meet one at the club, get it wrong, and it does
not come round again for months. Cuebids gives you the same decision as many
times as you need it.
WHY BRIDGE PLAYERS USE IT
You are never both online at once. The auction waits for whoever is next to
call and notifies them when it is their turn, so a session can take ten
minutes or a week. Nobody has to book an evening.
Practice exactly what you want. Pick a deal type and every hand in the session
produces that situation. A session on slam bidding is slam decisions the whole
way down, not one slam in twelve random deals.
Instant feedback. Each board is simulated many times to find the best result
available, then your contract is scored against it from zero to three stars.
Find your weaknesses. Leak Finder reports on the areas you can improve with a
given partner — slams, games, competitive auctions, opening shapes — so you
practice the leak instead of guessing at it.
Compare with the professionals. Everyone bids the same deals in the Daily and
Weekly, so the comparison is like for like. Professional players carry a PRO
badge, and on any board you can see what they bid on the hand you got wrong.
Follow the ones you want to learn from.
Competitions, if you want them. Daily and Weekly events, challenges against
friends, ranked challenges, and a leaderboard you can narrow to Friends or
Pros.
PLAY THE SYSTEM YOU ACTUALLY PLAY
Cuebids does not make you pick from a list. With your own partner you bid
whatever the two of you have agreed — your system, your conventions, the notes
on the back of your card. Nothing is enforced.
2 over 1, Standard American, Acol, Precision Club, Polish Club, Blue Team
Club, Swedish and French standard, Forum D, Kaplan-Sheinwold, Carrot Club,
or whatever else you have agreed.
NO PARTNER AVAILABLE?
A robot partner can take the seat. It is the one place there is a list,
because it has to know what your bids mean: 2 over 1, Advanced 2 over 1,
Standard American, Acol, French standard, Swedish expert, Basic Swedish, both
of Gavin Wolpert's master series, or a convention card you build yourself.
A partner who never forgets an agreement is the one to rehearse an agreement
with. Advanced robots can also sit East-West, so you can practice auctions
where the opponents interfere.
WHAT THE PROFESSIONALS SAY
"The perfect tool to practice bidding methods until they become second
nature."
— Gavin Wolpert, pro and coach
"Great hands, an intuitive interface, and a fun competitive edge."
— Sjoert Brink, World Champion
"I use Cuebids every day. Essential for both pros and beginners."
— Ola Rimstedt, World Champion
WHAT IT COSTS
Cuebids is free. You and your partner can bid together for as long as you
like, on as many boards as you like. It is not a trial and there is no board
limit.
Tickets cover the two things that are more than the two of you: a robot in a
seat, and competition. A free account gets 48 a month, and your first sessions
with a robot are free.
A subscription is optional. It adds deal types, custom scenarios, private
groups, four-player mode and a deeper Leak Finder. The top tier covers your
partner as well as you, so one subscription can carry a partnership.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
Cuebids is a bidding trainer, so there is no card play. If what you want to
improve is your dummy play, this is the wrong tool. A robot partner is not a
real partner either: it bids its convention card exactly, every time, where a
human hesitates and misremembers.
