Blackjack: Ranked

It's Blackjack, on your wrist, with a twist! It's Ranked!

Are you exceptionally good at Blackjack? Or are you, you know, not that great? You'll start out in Walnut rank (as in "Smart as a walnut!") - can you make it to Gold rank, or maybe even Platinum rank? This game will teach you how to be better, the rest is up to you.

After every game, based on both the outcome (win/lose) and the quality of your decision making, your Blackjack Elo rating will be adjusted. You are ranked vs. every other player worldwide and in real time - as your Blackjack Elo rating goes up (or down), so will your ranking.

You are not playing against a dealer, and there is no betting. It one vs. one, head-to-head versus another person of similar skill.

The other player sees your top card, and you see their top card - each of your other cards is hidden. They're showing a 7, you have 16. Do you hit? Remember, they aren't a dealer - you won't know what his other card is. And they can (and will, sometimes) hit on 17+.

Every possible combination of outcomes has been tested with machine learning and empirical probabilities to know the odds of hitting vs. standing - so after every decision, you will get feedback on whether or not you made the right move. For those who know what they're doing, you can turn feedback off to get bigger good decision bonuses - but the wrong decision penalties will sting more.

If you can crack the top ten highest ranked in the world, you'll see yourself on the leaderboards (and so will everybody else).
