HoYoVerse has announced that the highly anticipated Zenless Zone Zero will launch on the Xbox Series X alongside the game’s 2.0 version in June 2025. This move broadens the game’s availability, as players from other platforms will have the option to link their existing accounts on Xbox to maintain their progress.

Details from the Xbox Spotlight Event

During the recent Xbox Spotlight event, where Zenless Zone Zero was featured, HoYoVerse highlighted some noteworthy technical capabilities of the game on the new console. The game will operate smoothly at 60 frames per second (fps) in stunning 4K resolution, providing an immersive visual experience for players. Additionally, the game will utilize the improved controller vibration settings offered on Xbox, enriching the gameplay.

Furthermore, Xbox Cloud Gaming will allow players to enjoy Zenless Zone Zero on various devices, albeit at a resolution capped at 1080p during streaming. Despite this limitation, players can still experience the game at 60fps, ensuring high-paced action remains intact.

Upcoming Updates to Anticipate

Before the exciting launch of the Xbox Series X version and the arrival of Season 2, an update is scheduled for earlier release. Version 1.7 of Zenless Zone Zero is expected to roll out on April 23, 2025, introducing new characters Hugo and Vivian as agents within the game. Players can also expect glimpses of some of the new characters and locations from the upcoming 2.0 version, generating further intrigue and anticipation.

Current Platforms

As it stands, Zenless Zone Zero is already available for play on PS5, PC, and mobile devices, catering to a diverse gaming audience.
