Scheduled for January 25 at 10 AM PST, the World of Warcraft Plunderstorm PvP tournament will consist of up to eight matches, showcasing both skill and strategy.
Having first introduced the Plunderstorm game mode in early 2024, this pirate-inspired battle royale format has captured the community’s interest. Its return on January 14 brought new capabilities, rewards, and ultimately, more engaging gameplay for players and spectators alike.
The focus will be on the Plunderstorm Creator Royale, reviving a popular feature from last year’s event. Participants will be divided into 30 teams, each consisting of two content creators. These teams will compete over a series of up to eight matches. The first five matches will see the last 20 teams earn points based not only on their standings but also by securing elimination points. The leading team after match six, provided they rank in the top three of the scoreboard, or in the top ten of match seven, will be crowned champion. Should a clear victor remain unidentified by then, the eighth match winner will clinch the championship, irrespective of the points accrued.
