Kuro Games has announced that players can look forward to the release of Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves on February 13, 2025. This latest update promises an array of thrilling new content that fans are sure to enjoy.

New Characters and Banners

Among the fresh characters debuting with Version 2.1, players will meet the five-star character, Phoebe. This launch will include banners that provide enhanced probabilities for acquiring four-star characters: Lumi, Chixia, and Aalto. Starting on March 6, 2025, the banners will shift to feature two five-star characters: Brant, a brand-new addition to the roster, and Changli, who is making a comeback from her previous appearance in Version 1.1. Additionally, players can anticipate four-star companions, Youhu, Taoqi, and Mortefi, joining Brant and Changli. The introduction of Brant will also be accompanied by the “Sail Day, Captain!”Companion Story, enriching the narrative experience.

Exploring the Riccioli Islands

The content update will prominently feature the new location known as the Riccioli Islands. This picturesque setting will introduce players to an engaging fishing minigame tied to the upcoming Old Man and the Whale event. Participants will have the opportunity to navigate their gondola while engaging in fishing activities, capturing various fish species in exchange for exciting rewards.

Enhanced Graphics and Performance

In addition to the new locations and characters, Version 2.1 will incorporate ray tracing technology in the PC version of Wuthering Waves. This performance enhancement aims to elevate the visual experience, particularly for players equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards or superior configurations.
