This announcement was made via an infographic, confirming that Jiyan will have a rerun in the second phase of patch 1.3. Meanwhile, the new 5-star Spectro unit, Shorekeeper, is set to debut in the first half of the update.

Wuthering Waves 1.3 Character Banner Schedule

As outlined, Wuthering Waves 1.3 will introduce a brand new 5-star character in the initial phase banner, launching with the update on September 29, 2024, at 11 am (UTC+8). The second phase of patch 1.3 will begin on October 24, 2024, at 10 am (server time), featuring the game’s first rerun banner.

  • Shorekeeper (5-star, Spectro – Rectifier)
  • Taoqi (4-star, Havoc – Broadblade)
  • Yangyang (4-star, Aero – Sword)
  • Chixia (4-star, Fusion – Pistol)

Second Phase Banner (October 24, 2024)

  • Jiyan (5-star, Aero – Broadblade)
  • Youhu (4-star, Glacio – Gauntlet)
  • Sanhua (4-star, Glacio – Sword)
  • Mortefi (4-star, Fusion – Pistol)

Shorekeeper and Youhu are the only new characters featured in patch 1.3. They were highlighted during the recent Wuthering Waves livestream event, allowing viewers to observe the Resonator’s gameplay, abilities, and kit interactions in combat. This insight could assist them in determining whether to summon these characters upon their release.
