However, it was announced that Rockstar Games will be removing two popular game modes in the upcoming update next week. According to their latest newswire post, both Open Wheel Races and the San Andreas Super Sport Series will be taken out of the game.

This decision aligns with the developers’ plans for gameplay improvements by rotating certain game modes, enhancing the overall player experience.

Upcoming GTA Online Update Scheduled to Remove 2 Game Modes for Halloween Themes

As indicated in the tweet above, Rockstar Games shared this update on X today. Here’s an excerpt from what the developer indicated:

“Starting next week, Open Wheel Races and the San Andreas Super Sport Series are being rotated out to make room for returning favorite Halloween modes — and look for all kinds of surprises throughout October — including a brand-new Survival mode set in North Yankton’s Ludendorff Cemetery.”

The Ludendorff Cemetery in North Yankton is part of unreleased drip-feed content expected to launch next week as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC. While the specific details remain uncertain at this time, players can anticipate a thrilling experience battling against waves of undead or zombies in the next GTA Online update.

It’s noteworthy that the modes being removed may return in the future, though an exact timeline for their reintroduction is not yet available.
