How to Obtain the Free Maradona Grassroot Greats Card in EA FC 25

To secure the free Maradona Grassroots Greats Icon Card, players need to engage with EA FC 25 between February 14, 2025, and March 14, 2025, at 10 AM PT. Please note that this card is untradeable, which prevents it from being sold on the Transfer Market for in-game currency.

The base card of Maradona comes with decent stats; however, players can maximize its potential through both complimentary and paid Evolution upgrades. The initial version has a rating of 77 OVR and plays as a Central Attacking Midfielder (CAM). Here are some of the noteworthy attributes:

Upon completion, each of Diego’s Dreams I, II, III, as well as the Pibe de Oro Evo, will significantly enhance Maradona’s card with improved stats and attributes. Specifically, the Pibe de Oro path can be unlocked to achieve a 92 OVR rated Maradona, although it will require a commitment of resources.
