How to Unlock Cryo Freeze in Black Ops 6 Zombies

To gain access to the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod in Call of Duty’s Black Ops 6 Zombies, players must reach Player Level 14. This mod offers each bullet a chance to slow down both normal and special enemies, while also enhancing the damage dealt to them.

After unlocking it, you can purchase the Ammo Mod in-game at the Arsenal Machine using Salvage. Salvage refers to the small piles of discarded materials marked with a green outline, which are dropped by defeated foes and serve as the currency in Zombie mode.

In this installment, there’s a new feature allowing players to boost the effectiveness of Ammo Mods by using Augments. The Cryo Freeze mod comes with six Augments—consisting of three minor and three major options—but you can only equip one Minor and one Major Augment simultaneously.

Remember, you can only have one Ammo Mod active on your weapon at any given time; however, throughout gameplay, you can switch to a different Ammo Mod by purchasing it from the Arsenal Machine as the situation demands.
