Locating Saint Antiochus’ Die in KCD2
Finding the Saint Antiochus’ Die can be particularly challenging, especially for players still familiarizing themselves with KCD2’s map layout. This cheat die is often concealed in the belongings of merchants, bandits, bird nests, and various NPCs encountered throughout the game. However, there are three key locations where players can obtain it with 100% certainty, including a method for farming additional copies.
Pickpocketing the Hired Hand at Troskowitz Tavern
The first method involves pickpocketing a character named the Hired Hand at Troskowitz Tavern. Although this method requires a Thievery skill level of 15 or the consumption of a Strong Quickfingers Potion, it allows for an unlimited supply of the die. To begin, head to Troskowitz Tavern—known as the starting point for several quests, including Wedding Crashers.
During the day, the Hired Hand can be found playing dice, while at night, he sleeps on the upper floor of the tavern. To successfully pickpocket him, wear dark clothing to minimize noise and visibility, pick the lock to enter the tavern, and navigate to his sleeping quarters. Keep trying until the die appears in the pickpocketing mini-game. Once retrieved, exit quietly and wait 12 to 25 hours before attempting again, as the die will respawn.
Inside a Beehive in Lower Semine
The second location is at the Lower Semine Mill. Travel north until the road curves west, where you’ll discover six beehives arranged in a circle. The second hive from the right contains Saint Antiochus’ Die, along with a Bone Rosary and Honey. Note that this die does not respawn, making it a good alternative if you’re looking to diversify your collection.
Inside a Chest at the Devil’s Den
Another way to obtain the die is by searching inside a chest at the Devil’s Den Tavern. Ascend the stairs to the middle floor, where you’ll find an attic. Within this attic, look for a chest secured with a medium difficulty lock that contains the Saint Antiochus’ Die. Be cautious, as the locals may not appreciate your sudden interest in their possessions.
Once you’ve successfully gathered six of these incredible dice, victories in your games are almost guaranteed. Drawing six 3s will yield a staggering score of 2400, enabling quick wins in just one or two rounds.
