Beyond her agility, the Duchess boasts an impressive Intelligence score, making her a versatile combatant. While she favors stealthy dagger strikes against enemies, she can effectively harness Magic infusions alongside Staves and Sorceries to maximize her damage potential. Unlocking the Duchess in Nightreign
To unlock the Duchess, you’ll need to embark on a challenging Expedition against the formidable first Nightlord, Tricephalos, also known as the Gladius, Beast of Night. Triumphing over this enemy will reward you with the coveted Old Pocketwatch item.

So, whether you secure it on your second or third attempt, luck might still be on your side, although your success is guaranteed upon defeating him.
What to Do with the Old Pocketwatch
Once you’ve secured the Old Pocketwatch, you should head to the Hold and speak to the Priestess. Presenting her with the item initiates a cutscene where she reveals her true identity, subsequently unlocking the Duchess as a playable Nightfarer.
