Unlocking the Final Mission in Dynasty Warriors: Origins – Comprehensive Dream Battle Guide

Once players have successfully navigated the story arcs for the factions of Wei, Wu, and Shu in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, they will likely find one last side mission awaiting completion. This final Chapter 5 mission stands out from the preceding eighteen missions, as it is not associated with a specific faction. Instead, players must engage in various skirmishes to gain access to it.
Fortunately, completing this task is relatively quick, which is advantageous for those pursuing the Supreme Competence Trophy or Achievement. Interestingly, unlocking this mission will also lead players to acquire additional trophies along the way.
Unlocking the Last Mission in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
To access the concluding side mission in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, players must focus on restoring peace across all regions. If they have already finished the other missions, peace restoration will trigger a communication from the mysterious Guardian of Peace. This communication will make the Dream Battle mission available in the Sili Province.
For those who have completed the three primary storylines, restoration will be nearly complete, with only Liang Province left in turmoil. Located at the top left corner of the map, players should engage in the Elimination of the Qiang skirmish multiple times to restore peace here. Successfully doing so will also unlock the Guardian of Peace Trophy or Achievement.
Players will notice that the quest marker for the Elimination of the Qiang skirmish reappears roughly a minute after returning to the world map, allowing for efficient progress.
The Final Mission: Dream Battle in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
The ultimate side mission is titled Dream Battle, which challenges players to face three formidable enemy forces, comprised of some of the most powerful officers in the game. Once one enemy faction is defeated, the remaining two will unite and advance toward the player’s stronghold, resulting in an epic showdown. Victorious players will receive the Disc of Huanglong, a premier accessory in the game.
The Disc of Huanglong is particularly beneficial, as it reduces the stamina gauge consumption of Battle Arts by one unit.
Despite the substantial strength of the enemies, players may find that the battle is manageable on both the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings, particularly due to the overpowered state many achieve late in the game. This provides an excellent opportunity to replay the Dream Battle via the Records menu at the inn, enabling players to accumulate skill points and achieve impressive kill counts. Players can anticipate a minimum of 5,000 kills per run, with each session lasting between fifteen and twenty minutes.
