Here’s a concise breakdown of how the Prestige system operates in Black Ops 6:

  • Initially, players can progress up to Military Rank 55. Upon reaching this rank, you will have the option to Prestige your account.
  • Upon Prestiging, your account stats, rank, and unlocks will revert back to square one, and you will begin again at Level 1. This reset allows you to attain Prestige 1, denoted by a new player icon next to your ID. Remember, your transactions, challenges, weapon advancement, base Operators, and Zombies Gobblegums will remain intact.
  • In addition, you will receive a Permanent Unlock token, which lets you unlock any weapon or item within the game that will stay with you even after your account reset post-Prestige. For example, if you use the token to unlock the AS VAL, accessible at Level 55, it will always be available to you regardless of future resets.
  • While enjoying Prestige 1, you can level up to Military Rank 55 once again. Upon reaching this milestone, you can Prestige your profile again, resetting everything to achieve Prestige 2. Additionally, you will gain another Permanent Unlock token.
  • This cycle continues until you achieve Prestige 10, accumulating a total of 10 Permanent Unlock tokens. Furthermore, advancing through each Prestige level grants you rewards and additional challenges that introduce more in-game items.
  • Upon completing Prestige 10, you unlock Prestige Mastery, enabling you to ascend to Level 1000 in the game. Each level of Prestige Mastery has its own rewards, particularly at every 100th milestone.

This overview covers the essentials of the new Prestige system in Black Ops 6. Unlike titles such as MW2 (2022) or MW3 (2023), there’s no need to await a new season to advance to higher Prestige levels and reap the associated rewards. You can start your journey toward Prestige 10 immediately and unlock an abundance of exclusive rewards along the way.
