Ubisoft Forward Returns on June 10 with the Latest on Ubisoft Games

According to a recent announcement on Twitter, Ubisoft has confirmed that their annual event, Ubisoft Forward, will be taking place on June 10 in Los Angeles. This highly anticipated event is where the publisher showcases updates, upcoming releases, and surprises for both announced and unannounced projects. In the past, it was a part of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) conferences, but with E3 no longer in existence, it will now be a part of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, which kicks off on June 7 this year. While the lineup of games to be featured at Ubisoft Forward has yet to be revealed, speculation can be made based on the publisher’s known releases.

At the forefront of the showcase, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Ubisoft Massive, will undoubtedly steal the spotlight as the first true open world Star Wars game. Another highly anticipated title that is guaranteed to be featured is the new Assassin’s Creed game, currently known as Red. Set in feudal Japan, it will reportedly allow players to control two different characters – a local female samurai and an African refugee who is trained as a shinobi. While still maintaining its open world action RPG style, this installment of Assassin’s Creed will place a greater emphasis on stealth, deviating from the classic style seen in games like Mirage. Additional titles that have been confirmed are remakes of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Splinter Cell, as well as the upcoming free-to-play games Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland and XDefiant. Fans can also look forward to the release of the mobile games Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile, Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, and Assassin’s Creed Jade.

Despite the possibility of Beyond Good and Evil 2 being featured at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward, it would be difficult to predict without possessing divination powers. This project currently holds the record for the longest development time, which is not a desirable achievement.

According to Insider Gaming, Ubisoft is currently developing new installments in their popular franchises Far Cry and Ghost Recon. However, it is possible that these games may not be ready to be revealed in the next two months.
