Exciting New Squishmallows: Torchic and Cheery Pikachu Unveiled by The Pokemon Company International

In a thrilling announcement, The Pokemon Company International has revealed the latest additions to the beloved Squishmallows collection: Torchic and a delightful Cheery Pikachu variant. Both plush toys are available for pre-order at a price of $29.99. Currently, only the 12-inch variants can be found on the official Pokemon Center online store, though specific release dates have yet to be announced.

Distinctive Designs for Plush Enthusiasts

As with all Squishmallows, these new plush creations showcase a soft, oval shape accentuated by each character’s unique features. The Torchic plush exhibits delicate feathers adorning its neck, a distinct beak, and additional feathers atop its head, capturing the essence of this popular Fire-type Pokémon. Meanwhile, the Cheery Pikachu plush embodies the iconic features of this Electric-type mascot, complete with its recognizable ears, rosy cheeks, embroidered arms, brown stripes on its back, and its signature zig-zag tail.

Unique Retailer Characteristics

Fans should note that these plush toys, exclusive to the Pokemon Center, possess unique attributes that differentiate them from standard retail versions. Each plush comes with a decorative tag featuring special imagery and includes a Poke Ball-shaped patch on the back. In contrast, upcoming retail releases at stores like Walgreens and Walmart will lack these distinct enhancements, although they might be offered in various sizes.

Continuing the Pokemon Plush Evolution

Given their popularity, these plush toys are widely available at various retailers, including Amazon and Walmart.
