Best Light Cone
Back to All Characters
Players are already acquainted with the Remembrance path in the Simulated Universe, known primarily for its freezing mechanics and battlefield control strategies. With the introduction of the significant version 3.0 update in Honkai: Star Rail, the Remembrance path transitions into a playable character path. Unlike its previous application in the Simulated Universe, where it focused on crowd control, the playable path emphasizes summoning units onto the field, mirroring the abilities of characters like Jing Yuan’s Lightning Lord. These summoned units can provide valuable damage or support functions for the team.
In this new phase, the Trailblazer emerges as an Ice Remembrance character, primarily tasked with charging their summon, Mem. Mem is instrumental in enabling allies to inflict True DMG and stands out for its support attributes, including enhancing target allies’ actions and boosting their Crit Rate and Crit DMG. Thus, the Trailblazer adopts a support-centric role within this evolving framework. However, as this is a newly established path, optimal light cone options are initially scarce.
Players should steer clear of light cones focused solely on damage output, such as Sweat Now, Cry Less (4-star), Geniuses’ Greetings (4-star), and Time Woven Into Gold (Aglaea’s signature 5-star), as they do not align with the Trailblazer’s supportive mechanics. Instead, here are some recommended light cone options that enhance the Trailblazer’s supportive capabilities in Honkai: Star Rail.
Victory In a Blink
The Best Support Light Cone for Remembrance Trailblazer
HP

S5 Passive
Increases the wearer’s Crit DMG by 24%. When the wearer’s memosprite uses an ability on any ally target, all ally targets’ DMG dealt is increased by 16%, lasting for 3 turn(s).
The ideal light cone for Remembrance Trailblazer is the highly accessible Victory In a Blink, which players can acquire from the Light Cone Manifest Store in the Forgotten Hall. Its availability makes it easier for players to obtain and max superimpose, contingent upon having enough in-game currency. Although boosting the Trailblazer’s Crit DMG may have a lesser impact due to their supporting role, the light cone’s secondary benefit of enhancing allies’ DMG for three turns is invaluable and perfectly synergizes with Mem’s abilities.
In summary, Victory In a Blink is not only resource-friendly but also the most effective light cone available for the Remembrance Trailblazer. For those who cannot access it immediately, there are a couple of alternative options that may work reasonably well, albeit with slightly reduced effectiveness.
Shadowburn
Best 3-Star Rarity Light Cone for Remembrance Trailblazer
HP
ATK
DEF
847
318

S5 Passive
When the wearer summons memosprite for the first time in battle, recover 1 Skill Point(s) and regenerate 20 Energy for this unit.
Shadowburn serves as a reasonable option for the Remembrance Trailblazer, particularly for speeding up combat scenarios. Its key feature is the ability to recover a skill point and generate Energy for the Trailblazer upon Mem’s initial summoning. This is advantageous for quick battles or in scenarios where efficiency is paramount, as it facilitates a faster Mem charge, enabling the use of Mem’s skills sooner.
However, the major drawback of this light cone is that its effect only activates during the first summon of Mem. This limitation considerably reduces its effectiveness in prolonged battles or events extending beyond a few turns, making it less suitable for extended encounters. Players may want to explore other light cone options for sustained engagements.
Reminiscence
Best 3-Star Rarity Light Cone for Personal Damage
HP
ATK
DEF

S5 Passive
When memosprite’s turn begins, the wearer and memosprite each gain 1 stack of “Commemoration.”Each stack increases DMG dealt by 12%, stacking up to 4 times. “Commemoration”is removed when the memosprite vanishes.
For players lacking access to higher-tier light cones or looking to enhance the damage output of both Mem and the Remembrance Trailblazer, the 3-star light cone Reminiscence presents a viable solution. While the previously mentioned 4-star and 5-star light cones primarily focus on Basic ATK DMG or Crit Rate—neither of which significantly benefits Mem or the Trailblazer—Reminiscence provides a meaningful damage increase with low investment.
Notably, accumulating maximum stacks with Reminiscence can take up to four turns, as the stacking mechanics for both Mem and the Trailblazer are calculated separately. Consequently, its true potential is unveiled in longer battles. In contrast to Shadowburn’s immediate but transient benefits, Reminiscence offers a gradual advantage, making it more suitable for extended engagements rather than quick clearance. Nonetheless, for players without better light cone options, Reminiscence remains a worthwhile choice for a modest damage boost.
