C-Tier Monsters in Silent Hill 2

Tertiarily Disturbing Foes

Among the many twisted foes in Silent Hill 2, the Creeper has an unexpectedly diminished impact in comparison to its grotesque potential. While their presence would incite fear in reality, in the game’s context, these creatures feel less threatening.

The Mandarin, with its striking yet disorienting design, does present a unique challenge, particularly with its stabbing motions. Yet, it bears a resemblance to later designs, such as the Closer from Silent Hill 3, showcasing an evolutionary trait in the franchise’s creature design.
