Sega to Remove Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Many Other Games from Steam

Sega Classics Set for Delisting from Steam: 60+ Titles Disappearing Soon
In a surprising move, Sega has announced that over 60 titles from its classic gaming collection will soon be unavailable for purchase on Steam. This decision has sparked concern among fans, especially with beloved games like Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, and Virtua Fighter among those affected. The exact reasoning behind this delisting has yet to be disclosed by the publisher.
Fans were informed of this impending change through brief announcements posted on Steam pages for the affected games. Sega has also launched an FAQ page that addresses some questions related to this delisting process.
Important Date: December 6th Deadline
Starting at 11:59 PM PST on December 6th, the following 62 Sega titles will no longer be available for purchase on Steam:

Future of Sega’s Classic Titles
Last year, Sega hinted at revitalizing some of its iconic franchises, such as Crazy Taxi and Streets of Rage. However, it remains uncertain whether this delisting is a precursor to remastered editions or a result of a licensing dispute.
For those who currently own any of these games, there’s no need to worry. Players will retain access to their libraries and can continue enjoying the games they have purchased before the aforementioned date. However, those interested should act quickly to secure their copies.
