Stalker 2: Complete Main Mission Walkthrough for Legends Of The Zone

In the thrilling aftermath of the mission “An Act of Mercy, ”Dr. Kaimanaov assigns Skif the crucial task of verifying the Subtle Matter theory in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Players must navigate the expansive game world to locate Lab X3 and secure a cartridge from the Signature Station. The “Legends of the Zone”mission not only offers extensive gameplay but also culminates in an unexpected encounter with the legendary stalker, Strelok.
Retrieving Sidorovich’s Stolen Cargo
Following the completion of “An Act of Mercy, ”players must reconnect with Sidorovich at Rookie Village in the Cordon area. Sidorovich will instruct Skif to recover his cargo seized by a bandit group.
- Identify the location of the bandits to engage with Roosevelt and his crew. If Roosevelt has already been dealt with during the “Deal with the Devil”mission, you will face his gang.
- Subdue Roosevelt and claim the Decoder from him, or eliminate his crew and loot the Decoder from any of the henchmen.
- Return to Sidorovich and present the Decoder. He will advise Skif to gather intel on Lab X3 from the villagers.
Meeting Dark & Accessing Lab X3
After assisting Sidorovich with his cargo issue, venture to the technician’s house to consult Wolf the guide about Lab X3. He will refer Skif to a character named Dark, who can facilitate entrance to the lab.
- Approach Dark’s location, but be prepared—two armed guards will confront Skif, leading to a confrontation.
- Defeat the guards to initiate a dialogue with Dark, who will ally with Skif in the battle.
- Once the area is secure, converse with Dark about the next steps.
- Dark will request Skif to retrieve his belongings and meet him at the entrance to the tunnels leading to Lab X3.
- Locate Dark’s stash in the Electro Anomalous tunnel, marked on your map. The loot is located in a concrete structure at the tunnel’s conclusion.
- Afterward, rendezvous with Dark in the tunnels leading to Lab X3, ensuring to enter through the designated point indicated on the map.
Exploring Deeper into the Facility
Upon joining Dark in the tunnels, he will reveal that a power outage has disabled the elevator, and it’s Skif’s job to restore power to proceed through the back entrance.
- Smash the boards beside Dark to access the duct system.
- Progress through the ducts until you find a console; activate the breaker to restore power.
- Once powered, proceed to the large door Dark mentioned and utilize the Decoder.
- Beware—the Decoder won’t work on the first attempt, and a horde of Snork mutants will swarm the area.
- Eliminate the Snorks as Dark works to resolve the issue. Once he gives the signal, try using the Decoder again to open the door.
- Advance to a large platform and traverse across to enter the lab, where you’ll contend with Bloodsucker mutants.
- Continue onward to the stairwell leading to a hole in the ground.
- Descend into the hole and navigate through the control room to reach the container storage area.
- Search for a forklift, climb over it, and then jump to the adjacent containers.
- Utilize the containers to reach the top of the warehouse and locate the second breaker to activate.
- Descend, move left, and enter through the door marked with a red light.
- You’ll find yourself in a room with a wall breach. Go through to confront a Pseudogiant mutant.
- Upon defeating the giant, Dark will meet up with Skif again—engage in conversation and enter the subsequent room to advance in the “Legends of the Zone”mission.
Encountering Strelok & Exiting the Facility
Upon entering the designated room, television sets will activate, projecting subliminal messages which affect Dark significantly during a cutscene. Following this chaos, Skif must open fire on the TVs. A mysterious figure emerges, assailing Skif and seizing Dark’s phone, which contains orders to eliminate Strelok.
This enigmatic character is eventually revealed to be the legendary stalker, Strelok himself. After an intricate cutscene, players must navigate out of the facility to obtain the cartridge.
- Exit the room with Strelok and proceed into the next chamber where an Exoskeleton awaits.
- Make your way to the facility’s main chamber and board the elevator to reach the upper level.
- Cross the walkway and ascend the ladder into a blooming field.
- Enter the house situated in the center of the field to collect the cartridge.
Upon retrieving the cartridge, the “Legends of the Zone”mission in Stalker 2 concludes, setting the stage for a brief dialogue with Strelok before the next mission, “A Subtle Matter, ”is unveiled.
