Koei Tecmo Announces Rise of the Ronin PC Release Date

Koei Tecmo has officially revealed that the much-anticipated PC port of Rise of the Ronin will be released on March 10, 2025. Gamers eager to experience this title on PC can look forward to its arrival on the Steam platform. To sweeten the deal, players have until April 2, 2025, to take advantage of pre-purchase bonuses as they add this exciting game to their collections.

Pre-Purchase Bonuses Details

It’s important to note that the PC version of Rise of the Ronin won’t feature exclusive pre-order bonuses. Instead, it will mirror the incentives offered to those who pre-purchase the PlayStation 5 edition. The bonuses include:

• Ninja’s Katana Rig
• Iga Ninja Armor Set
• Four Unique Fighting Styles:
  • Hayabusa-ryu for Katana
  • Hayabusa-ryu for Naginata
  • Nioh-ryu for Katana
  • Aisu Kage-ryu for Katana

Inspiration Behind the Bonuses

The Iga Ninja Katana and accompanying four-piece armor set draw their inspiration from Ryu Hayabusa, the central figure of the Ninja Gaiden series. In a recent announcement in January 2025, Koei Tecmo ignited excitement among fans by disclosing their plans to revive the Ninja Gaiden franchise. This revival will involve a collaboration between Team Ninja and Platinum Games for the development of Ninja Gaiden 4. To mark this resurgence, Koei Tecmo also released a remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black for both Xbox Series X and PC, making it accessible to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass.
