Upcoming Launch of Harvest Moon Classics on Nintendo Switch

Fans of the beloved Harvest Moon series have an exciting announcement! Natsume has officially revealed that the Nintendo Switch versions of the original 3DS titles, The Lost Valley and Skytree Village, will be available starting July 3, 2025.

A Look Back at the 3DS Origins

It’s worth noting that there are no significant anniversaries tied to this release date.Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley first launched in the United States in November 2014, with its European and Australian releases following in June 2015. Unlike traditional titles in the series, this installment doesn’t feature a vibrant village. Instead, players await the arrival of visitors from Hillsville in the valley where their cabin is located, allowing for meaningful interactions.

The sequel, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, made its debut two years later in November 2016 in the U. S., followed by releases in Australia and Europe in 2017.

Pre-order Bonus Details

Recently, Natsume provided an intriguing update regarding the pre-order bonuses for this exciting collection. Rather than the plush toys typically associated with earlier releases, customers will receive an acrylic standee. This new collectible features charming animals set against a barn backdrop, embellished with the game’s logo.

The Legacy of Natsume’s Harvest Moon Titles

It’s essential to highlight that neither of these titles was released in Japan. This was primarily due to their role as the beginning of Natsume’s independent Harvest Moon game series. Previously, Natsume translated Marvelous’ Bokujou Monogatari for players outside Japan. However, since then, Marvelous has taken the reins, partnering with XSEED to bring the Story of Seasons series to the forefront. The next major title in this beloved franchise is set to include the return of the classic DS game, Grand Bazaar, also reimagined for the Nintendo Switch as Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.

A Cozy Bundle for Nintendo Switch

In summary, Natsume’s Cozy Bundle, showcasing both Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, will grace the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2025. These nostalgic titles continue to resonate with fans and are sure to attract new players alike.
