Introducing the New Dual Front Mode

One of the most exciting features in Rainbow Six Siege X is the debut of the permanent 6v6 mode, Dual Front. This mode innovatively combines Attackers and Defenders as they compete to capture enemy sectors while safeguarding their own. The gameplay has been designed to encourage dynamic interactions, allowing players to respawn, switch operators, and undertake time-sensitive Neutral Sector tasks during matches.

Enhanced Graphics and Gameplay Experience

As part of this update, five fan-favorite 5v5 maps have been modernized with enhanced lighting, shadow effects, and resolution. The updated maps include:

  • Clubhouse
  • Chalet
  • Border
  • Bank
  • Coffee

Moreover, Ubisoft plans to revamp three additional 5v5 maps every season to keep the experience fresh.

Strategic Gameplay Innovations

Rainbow Six Siege X introduces new destructible elements such as gas pipes, metal detectors, and fire extinguishers. These features serve as strategic tools for players to outsmart their opponents effectively. Furthermore, improvements in rappel navigation and momentum control offer players enhanced maneuverability, enabling actions like sprinting horizontally along walls and navigating building corners with ease.

Realistic Audio Enhancements

The audio design has received a substantial overhaul, enriching the gameplay experience with improved sound propagation and reverberation. As a result, players can utilize audio cues to gather critical intelligence, helping them identify enemy positions and room types accurately during matches. New players are also welcomed with an innovative onboarding experience that enhances skill-building and boosts confidence.
