According to his sources, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection are expected to debut on the PlayStation 5 this year. These titles are also rumored to be making their way to the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Windows Central’s Jez Corden corroborated these claims shortly after Nate’s insights, indicating a growing trend of Xbox games transitioning to non-Xbox consoles. He expanded on the list of anticipated releases, mentioning titles like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Age of Mythology, and the much-discussed Gears of War 1 Ultimate Edition.

The potential for Gears of War 1 Ultimate Edition to appear on the PS5 stands out, showcasing a major Xbox franchise crossing over to its primary competitor. Despite its age – the remastered edition released in 2015 – this move could pave the way for further titles from the franchise, especially given the ongoing rumors surrounding a comprehensive Gears of War Collection.

Releasing Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Age of Mythology Retold on PS5 would likely be welcomed by Xbox fans.
