Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Guide: Solving the Generator Cogwheel Puzzle
As players navigate through Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, they will successfully escape the Prison Yard, but not without encountering the character duo Yarnby and Doey. Their journey continues toward the Safe Haven, yet a significant challenge lies ahead. According to Doey, the generator is in disrepair, which is the reason it remains powered down. However, he is willing to activate it temporarily, enabling players to insert the necessary cogwheels into the door mechanism and unlock access to the next area.
Guide to Solving the Generator Cogwheels Puzzle in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4
Upon descending into a dim corridor, players will first notice an empty battery panel. In a helpful gesture, Doey will offer a battery to restore power and activate the door’s cogwheel mechanism. To proceed, turn around and enter the first doorway on your left, where you’ll locate the cogwheel mechanism for the door that currently requires three cogwheels to function.
Locating the Three Cogwheels
The journey to find the first cogwheel begins by turning right from the mechanism and venturing into a maze-like area formed by chain-link fencing, where the cogwheel awaits on a workbench.
For the second and third cogwheels, exit the workbench area and re-enter the hallway, leading to a different section of the structure. Here, players will notice a stack of boxes on the left; move these boxes aside to unveil a larger cogwheel hidden behind them.
To discover the final cogwheel, execute a U-turn and take a left to find a cogwheel, distinguished by its silver rim, tucked beneath a shelf. With all three cogwheels in hand, you are prepared for the next step.
Placing Cogwheels into the Door Mechanism
With the three cogwheels collected, return to the cogwheel mechanism. It’s time to insert them into their designated slots. The smallest cogwheel should be positioned in the rightmost space; the cogwheel with the silver rim goes in the center, while the largest cogwheel occupies the left slot.
Once all cogwheels are correctly positioned, the shutter door will release, paving the way for players to progress to the next stage of Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
