Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Guide: Powering Up All Three Machine Stations

Upon successfully navigating the minecart puzzle and reaching No Man’s Land in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, players face the challenge of solving intricate electrical wiring puzzles. The first step involves powering up Machine Stations using Hand Scanners. While the mechanics of this puzzle may seem straightforward, the presence of the hostile Yarnby character adds a layer of complexity. This guide provides a structured approach to overcoming this obstacle.
Activating Machine Stations via Hand Scanners in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4
As you delve into No Man’s Land, the relentless pursuit by Yarnby can make solving puzzles significantly more challenging. However, players can find various hiding spots within walls and pipes, providing brief respite from Yarnby’s grasp. Adopting a strategic approach is crucial for executing tasks within the facility located in No Man’s Land.
Gaining Access to the Facility
Begin by redirecting power from the primary electrical power router to the hand scanner stationed near a locked shutter. Utilize your blue hand to complete the scan, then promptly hide in the adjacent nook to evade Yarnby as he enters the ventilation system. Once it’s safe, make your way through the doorway and pull the lever next to the terminal to power the facility.
At this stage, your mission is to activate three machine stations in this facility. Beware, as Yarnby will spawn in the room, complicating your task.
Activating the Three Machine Stations
The first machine station is located just down the stairs near the power terminal. Rush down to the station and begin scanning your blue hand to activate it. Anticipate Yarnby’s detection midway through the process; be prepared to hide in the small alcove to the left. After Yarnby has left, continue the activation until you receive the update confirming all systems are operational.
For the second machine station, proceed to the opposite end of the first floor. It’s positioned under the stairs in the northwest section. Start scanning this machine, but be cautious and retreat near the barrels if Yarnby approaches. Vigilantly monitor both the stairs above and beside the machine station for Yarnby’s presence.
Finally, ascend the stairs beyond the barrels to reach the last machine station. From the top of the stairs, aim and shoot your blue hand to the scanner from a safe distance. Gradually make your way back down the stairs, ensuring that you remain hidden while the activation completes, as Yarnby will be preoccupied with the machine station.
Exiting the Facility and Moving to the Next Section
After successfully activating all three machine stations, wait for Yarnby to distance himself before making your escape from the facility. Ensure that power is redirected to the terminal located outside the facility (follow the top right wire in the electrical router).
Once the red button on the terminal is lit up, press it and head towards the central area to unite power to the drawbridge. This action allows you to advance into the next segment of Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
