Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Guide: Gathering and Planting Explosives

After addressing the threat posed by the Doctor, players will advance to the Foundation where their next challenge lies: the retrieval and placement of four explosives in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. This mission will lead players into the depths of treacherous caverns, teeming with terrifying creatures that will attack on sight. To ensure safety, it’s crucial for players to stay vigilant with a flare gun at the ready to fend off any incoming threats.

Locating All Four Explosives in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4

Your quest for explosives begins in the caverns of the Foundation. Follow these steps to locate each stick of dynamite:

1. Upon entering the cavern, immediately seek out the first stick of dynamite which is resting on a box near a hole inhabited by lurking critters.
2. Advance into the main area, making sure to transport the jump pad with you. Proceed to the second cave section and strategically position the jump pad at the intersection.
3. Be prepared, as several nightmare critters will emerge to attack. Use your flare gun to fend them off quickly.
4. Utilize the jump pad to reach the elevated portion of the cave where the second stick of dynamite awaits.
5. After retrieving the second explosive, descend from the upper level and glance to the left to discover a hole. Navigate through this tunnel to find the third stick on the right side.
6. Continue deeper into the cave until you encounter an opening on your right containing explosive canisters. Detonate the canisters to access the area behind them where the fourth stick is located.

Explosive Planting Guide

With all four explosives in your possession, make your way back to the main area featuring large gas pipes. Look for designated planting spots marked with an X symbol, and follow these instructions:

1. The first planting site is located near a massive rusted gas tank in the center of the room. Approach it and follow the prompt to secure the dynamite.
2. While facing the gas tank, shift left towards one of the pipes to find another planting position. Secure the second dynamite stick here.
3. Next, turn around and venture forward until you spot a yellow steel beam on your right side. Plant the third explosive there.
4. Finally, locate a similar beam opposite the previous one to plant the last piece of dynamite.

After successfully placing all of the explosives, your next objective will be to release the gas, which will initiate phase two of the mission in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
