Lost Records: Bloom & Rage immerses players in a captivating quest to collect various Memoirs through camcorder footage, allowing them to unlock achievements and trophies. While some Memoirs are confined to specific locations within the game, others are more expansive, contributing to ongoing collections like Birds! and Critters.

The journey begins in the charming area known as Velvet Cove, which players can explore after departing from Swann’s bedroom. This locale offers numerous filming opportunities, although some might easily go unnoticed. Collecting these Memoirs enhances the overall gaming experience and extends the time players can engage with Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Exploring Velvet Cove: Memoir Collection Guide

This chapter radiates serene music and stunning visuals, designed to enchant players. From the start, keen-eyed players can catch glimpses of noteworthy footage—especially by peering past the expansive fence. While your shot of the deer may fleetingly disappear, don’t be discouraged; additional opportunities to capture this moment arise within the same vicinity. Each Memoir indicates how many segments are needed for completion, and these can be gathered in any order.

Additionally, the fence features several locks to be opened, with one presenting players with a trophy or achievement for their efforts.

Memoir Name How to Find Hunting Look for a wooden hunting blind, a structure often used by hunters to conceal themselves while waiting for stags. Hunting Observe the bottom left side of the hunting blind where a stag will appear, providing an excellent opportunity for capturing footage. Birds! Players should have already collected one entry in this Memoir from the previous chapter. Start by capturing footage of three geese found on the island in the stream. Critters After filming the geese, turn your attention across the stream to locate a frog from the cutscene. A straightforward path from the stream’s island will help you find it easily. Hunting Next, scan to the left of the geese to find two deer near the stream’s edge; ensure they are both within frame for the Hunting Memoir. Critters A squirrel can be spotted perched upon a large rock, situated between the deer and the geese. Scenic View Capture the beauty of sunlight filtering through trees directly above the island in the stream. Hunting After collecting previous Memoirs, continue along the trail and observe the right side for arrows that can contribute to your Hunting Memoir. Graffiti While most Graffiti footage can be found in the following chapter, one early entry is located at the top right of the arrows. Birds! As you proceed, look for a large sign indicating the Parking area. Scan downwards or to the right to spot a house finch for this Memoir. Hunting To the right of the sign, a fallen log appears with some bones nearby; a prompt revealing their exact location will aid in capturing this footage. Critters After observing the bones, turn back to have a clear view of two squirrels visible from behind the large sign.

Are Memoirs Repeatable?

Indeed, many Memoir segments allow for multiple filming chances. For instance, if players miss the stag behind the initial fence, another opportunity to capture that footage presents itself later in the chapter. Following the cutscene featuring the geese and the frog, players can again find a stag relaxing on the opposite side of the stream—perfect for a fresh take on the Hunting Memoir.

Similarly, the squirrel located between the deer and the geese isn’t the only opportunity; another squirrel can be glimpsed in a nearby tree along the path, opposite the arrows used for the Hunting Memoir.

Players will also notice a northern cardinal perched atop the sign, but they will likely have already recorded the necessary footage for the Birds! Memoir.
