The anticipated action/adventure RPG Lost Soul Aside has officially been postponed, with the new launch date set for August 29. This announcement was made this morning by the game’s developer, Yang Bing, who expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic support from the gaming community.
Dear fans, we are truly grateful for the positive response we’ve received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside. We remain committed to delivering a high-quality game experience. To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game.
This title has been on our radar for over seven years, with its development kicking off back in 2014. Initially a solo project, it is refreshing to see how far Lost Soul Aside has come, and granting Yang Bing some extra time to refine the game seems reasonable. After all, it’s worth the wait when the end product promises to be impressive. Additionally, the original release date coincided with Elden Ring: Nightreign, a clash that likely warranted reconsideration.
Gameplay Overview and Storyline
In the narrative of Lost Soul Aside, players embark on an adventure with Kaser and his band of rebels as they aim to sabotage an oppressive Emperor’s birthday celebrations to spark a rebellion. However, their plans face disruption when mysterious entities known as the Voidrax invade, threatening to annihilate other species and drain their energy. The plot thickens when Kaser’s sister, Louisa, is kidnapped, setting the stage for an epic rescue mission with the help of Arena—a dragon-like companion capable of transforming into various weapons.
Gameplay mechanics draw inspiration from beloved titles such as Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, and Bayonetta, yet Lost Soul Aside elevates the experience by incorporating deep character progression and extensive weapon customization options.

This title will be published by Sony, having originally received support through the PlayStation China Hero Project. It will launch simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and PC. The PC version will leverage cutting-edge technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and advanced ray tracing capabilities. Recently, NVIDIA showcased the game’s impressive performance on the GeForce RTX 5090, achieving over 500 frames per second. Comprehensive PC system requirements were disclosed earlier, offering insight into the specifications needed to enjoy this visually stunning title.
