Location Guide for Overturned Cart (The Jaunt) in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, one of the initial quests available to players is The Jaunt. In this quest, players assume the role of Henry as he embarks on a mission to retrieve a lost cart for the local blacksmith. While the early phases of this quest are relatively straightforward, the later sections present some challenges, particularly when it comes to locating the Overturned Cart with limited guidance.
Once you successfully locate the cart, your next objective will be to track down a runaway hired hand to complete the quest. This guide outlines the steps to find both the Overturned Cart and the hired hand, facilitating your journey toward securing an invitation to the upcoming wedding.
Locating the Overturned Cart in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (The Jaunt)
In part N of The Jaunt, you must explore the crossroads near Apollonia in search of the cart. Your companion, Gnarly, advises you to check the road behind you. Dismount from your horse and reverse your direction, veering right just before leaving the tree line. Look down to spot the cart tracks curving off to the right, with a sack of coal positioned at the turning point.
Follow the narrow path indicated to find the cart hidden slightly to the left, partially obscured by branches. To proceed further, approach and interact with the cart.
It’s crucial to prepare for combat here, as you will face challenges ahead that involve clearing out two bandit camps.
Finding the Runaway Hired Hand in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (The Jaunt)
As you engage in the skirmish at the second bandit camp, you will notice one of the hired hands fleeing into the nearby rocks, setting off part V of the quest. Instead of searching extensively through the rocky terrain, the hired hand has simply made his way back to the camp you just cleared. Look for the white tent fabric draped over the rocks and move to the left of it, turning right at the first opening into the rocks.
Since your travel between the camps is depicted in a cutscene, utilize your map to mark the other camp for guidance. Your previous encounters should have left you bloodied, thus making the intimidation check straightforward when persuading the hired hand to return with you.
Rewards for Completing The Jaunt
Once you successfully locate the cart and bring back the hired hand, Lord Semine will reward you with 80 Groschen. However, your journey doesn’t end here. Returning to the blacksmith will not only advance the quest essential for securing your wedding invitation but also grant you a Rusted Plate armor piece and enhance your reputation within the game.
