How to Acquire Sample One in Atomfall
To begin your quest for Sample One, you first need to meet Dr. Holder if you haven’t already done so. It’s likely you’ve already crossed paths with him, since he serves as the primary informant regarding Sample One.
Before progressing in this quest, it’s advisable to obtain the Strange Tonic Recipe and craft several tonics. These will prove beneficial as you traverse areas inhabited by infectious enemies, helping you counteract debilitating status effects.

Accessing this area requires the Church Cellar Key, which can be found on the first floor of the Medical wing at the Interchange.
Notably, you will encounter an elevator that requires a Keycard, so make note of this for later use, as it will be vital for your journey.
Upon your initial meeting with Dr. Holder, he will provide you with a Keycard, which allows access to the lower levels of the Medical wing via the aforementioned elevator.

Advance through this area until you reach a console that activates a series of labs filled with loot and enemies. Interact with another console that opens the door to the auditorium.
The ultimate objective is to navigate to the auditorium, located on the lower level of the Medical wing.

To achieve all possible endings in the game, further exploration is advisable. Within this space, you can locate the Growth Stimulant essential for unlocking Mother Jago’s ending. Moreover, you will need to revisit this area later to finalize Dr. Holder’s quest.
Once you have retrieved Sample One, Dr. Holder will instruct you to rescue Dr. Garrow from Skethermoor Prison as the next step in your adventure.
