Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Demons of Trosky Quest Walkthrough Guide

Having escaped the confines of Trosky Castle, your first step should be a conversation with Chamberlain Ulric. Positioned with a view over the castle’s inner courtyard, he discreetly informs you of a troubling situation—demonic entities have begun to manifest from the depths beneath the castle, notorious for its fiery underpinnings.
In order to confront this supernatural menace, Ulric provides you with holy or magical water. Your mission is to consult the castle’s residents, including the cook, blacksmith, priest, and scribe, to gather intel on these bizarre occurrences and ultimately put a stop to the havoc they are wreaking.
Demons of Trosky Quest Guide
Starting from the Crone Tower side of Trosky, your best bet is to approach Cook Bertha first, located at the kitchen atop a long staircase descending from the blacksmith’s courtyard. She expresses her concerns over the demons, claiming they originate from the ominous halls beneath the Maiden Tower.

Next, descend into the courtyard to meet the blacksmith, Osina, who reveals that additional demons are lurking in a rather pungent arena positioned alongside the western courtyard.

It’s advisable to sprinkle the fireplaces under the cover of darkness. Thus, initiating your quest in the western courtyard to address Osina’s concerns is a logical choice. On your journey, you have the option to speak with Father Nicodemus, who now frequents the Maiden chapel, especially after the conclusion of “For Whom the Bell Tolls.”However, be prepared for him to be less than helpful.

Interact with the stalls to unveil the source of the demons, which might appear nonsensical as it merely looks like a standard lavatory. Returning to Osina yields yet another lead—an investigation of a mysterious door on the Maiden side of the tower.

Return to Osina once more and bear the embarrassment of being the butt of jokes. Although it may seem futile, your efforts will enhance your reputation in the area, thereby completing this section of the quest.
Next, prepare for a series of tasks under the veil of night, as you must sprinkle holy water on a total of ten fireplaces, five on each side of the castle.

Next, move up one flight of stairs and venture through the door on your left to locate another fireplace inside the elongated room. Retrace your steps to the stairwell and scale two additional staircases leading into a stone hallway. Navigate the stairs further to find the scribe’s chamber, which contains another fireplace.
Continue upwards to the loft space, past the alchemist’s lab, and enter the Chamberlain’s dining area where another fireplace resides. Finally, ascend one last flight of stairs to reach Black Bartosch’s room where you will find the last fireplace for the Crone side.

Ascend the stairs within the kitchen and proceed through to the storeroom at the top. Once upstairs from the storeroom, enter the room directly ahead to find a fireplace to your right.
After that, veer right to discover another fireplace adjoining the previous one. Return to the staircase and climb another flight. The door you encounter leads to Lord von Bergow’s dining room, where a small fireplace sits in the corner. Finally, at the back of the room, go through the door on your right and you will find the last fireplace, conveniently adjacent to the previous one.
With all fireplaces dealt with, it’s time to return to the Chamberlain. He will likely be in his quarters, so approach him with the good news. As a reward for your diligence, you will receive 55 groschen along with a golden cup and chalice valued at 770 and 580 groschen respectively. Clearly, the effort was worthwhile!
