To kick off the task, travel to Troskowitz and engage Innkeeper Betty in conversation regarding the Hermit. Throughout this discussion, you will encounter various dialogue options, all of which are non-mandatory. However, to unlock the Sinful Soul task, you must explore every dialogue option thoroughly to activate further objectives.

Upon completing this conversation, you will receive the following additional objectives:

• Interview villagers: Speak to various townsfolk, including an Alehouse Maid near the Tavern. Collecting enough information will fulfill this objective.
• Consult witness Gerda: Gerda is located near Apothecary Emerich. A successful speech check is required to converse with her, or you may opt to pay her 12 Groschen.
• Examine the cross: To the west of Troskowitz, investigate a cross that can be dug up. This location yields viable rewards such as Crusaders Of The Red Star Waffenrock, Chronicle of The Knights of The Cross, Seneschal Ambrose’s Decree, and other valuable items. Take care, as wolves guard this area. If you are aiming for the Lent trophy, avoid killing them and instead use your fists; they typically retreat after a few hits.
• Speak with witness Stanislav: East of Troskowitz is Shepherd Stanislav. Convince him to talk by offering Schnapps or by passing a speech check, or simply pay him 12 Groschen.
