Updates on Genshin Impact’s Kaeya and Xiao Nendoroids
During Smile Fest 2022, HoYoVerse announced exciting news for fans, revealing plans to create Nendoroid figures of Genshin Impact characters Kaeya and Xiao. However, since that initial announcement, there has been little follow-up, and many fans have been left wondering about the progress of these anticipated figures.
On June 12, 2025, the Nendoroid FUNS video was released, reassuring fans that Kaeya and Xiao are indeed still in development. Unfortunately, the update provided little additional insight into their progress. Throughout the video, viewers were shown the same official artwork of the characters from HoYoVerse, without any indication of new concept art or painted prototypes in the Nendoroid style.
For those interested in seeing the specifics, the Nendoroid FUNS showcase includes a segment featuring Kaeya and Xiao, which begins at approximately the 14:24 mark in the video.

To date, the first Nendoroids from Genshin Impact debuted in 2021, showcasing player avatars Aether and Lumine. Subsequently, the series expanded to include popular Archon characters like Venti, with Zhongli’s figure making its debut in Japan in May 2025. Fans are also eagerly awaiting the release of the Raiden Shogun Nendoroid, which is set to follow soon.
Although Genshin Impact figures have been introduced at a slower rate recently, figures from other HoYoVerse titles have been appearing more frequently. For instance, characters like March 7th, Dan Heng, and Aventurine from Honkai: Star Rail have been released, and figures for Zenless Zone Zero characters Wise, Belle, and Lycaon are also on the horizon for 2025 and 2026.
Availability of Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact continues to capture the interest of gamers, being available on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. While fans await the arrival of the Kaeya and Xiao Nendoroids, anticipation remains high for what HoYoVerse will ultimately deliver.
