Locating the Monk’s Workshop in Dig
Acquiring Jin’s Blessing involves a few straightforward steps, primarily centered around reaching the Monk’s Workshop, home to Jin, the God of Gold. To access this area, follow the instructions outlined below:
- Enter the Cinder Cavern and ride the elevator down to level 1, which requires an expenditure of $1000.
- Once there, choose any available Dig vehicle and drive straight ahead, following the trail marked by leaves.
- As you approach the initial blueshroom, make a left and continue straight.
- When you next cross a patch of leaves, turn left again and proceed until you spot illuminated lanterns.
- At this point, take a sharp right to locate the entrance to the Monk’s Workshop at the coordinates: 4443, -360, -1536.
Acquiring Jin’s Blessing in Dig
With the Monk’s Workshop located, the next step is to understand how to trade for Jin’s Blessing. This involves exchanging specific gold items for powerful luck boosts. The eligible items include gold nuggets, gold carts, or golden modified items, which you can discover in designated regions of the map or obtain through the Gold Digger Shovel.
To initiate the trade, hold at least one gold or golden item and approach the grand statue of Jin, the God of Gold. Interact with the statue by pressing the E key while offering your gold items. This action awards you a significant +2 luck boost for one hour.

In my view, it is advisable to conserve any gold nuggets, gold carts, or golden modified items you come across. Utilizing these for luck boosts offers more value than selling them immediately. When the luck boost is active, your chances of unearthing rare and valuable treasures increase significantly, compensating for any initial effort you invested.
Furthermore, timing your usage of luck boosts with the best Shovels during beneficial weather events, such as a Meteor Shower or a Blue Moon, can enhance your outcomes even further.
However, consider that if you discover a gold item with attributes like Shiny, Gargantuan, or Titanic, the situation changes. I recommend only trading gold items with Golden modifiers (mutations) if their rarity is below Scarce. Items of higher rarity can fetch better prices, especially since those with Golden modifiers have a 2.5x selling multiplier.
Given their independent value, selling these items is often more lucrative than trading them for a mere luck enhancement. Always evaluate the worth of what you’re offering up before trading it for +2 luck boosts.
