Recent reports indicate a significant shift at Haven Studios, the developer behind Fairgame$. According to a piece by Bloomberg, Jade Raymond, the studio’s founder, has left her position. Additionally, it has been reported that the launch of Fairgame$, the studio’s flagship competitive heist game, has been pushed back to spring 2026.
A Studio Built on Promise
Established in 2021, Haven Studios was a collaborative venture with PlayStation, aiming to foster a creative environment for developers while delivering engaging gaming experiences. At its inception, Jade Raymond expressed a vision of creating a “haven for players and developers alike.”
Game Development Progress and Challenges
The journey toward launching Fairgame$ included its announcement a year later, alongside a CGI trailer that introduced its competitive heist mechanics. However, recent feedback indicates that developers expressed concerns about the game’s reception and overall progress following an external test.

In light of Raymond’s departure, a PlayStation spokesperson conveyed appreciation for her contributions, referring to her as an “incredible partner and visionary force.”They affirmed PlayStation’s commitment to supporting Haven Studios and expressed optimism for future developments. Following her exit, Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-François Sapinski will assume roles as co-studio heads.

Before founding Haven Studios, Jade Raymond garnered acclaim as a producer on the Assassin’s Creed franchise at Ubisoft and later, she helped establish Motive Studio at Electronic Arts. Most recently, she played a pivotal role in Google’s endeavor with Stadia. Her departure from Haven marks another significant transition in her illustrious career.

The gaming landscape has been shifting, particularly concerning live-service titles. Following Haven’s acquisition by Sony, former PlayStation leader Jim Ryan pushed for a future enriched with live-service games.
