Over the years, Fortnite has successfully kept its cosmetics collection up-to-date by consistently introducing new outfits and incorporating characters from various Intellectual Properties and universes. Due to the vast selection of cosmetics offered in this game, Epic Games may receive a mix of reactions to some of their released skins.

The recently released Aubrey skin follows a similar color scheme to the Skye outfit from Chapter 2 Season 2, making it fit in seamlessly with other Fortnite skins. However, not everyone is a fan of this new outfit.

Despite some negative opinions about the Aubrey skin, there were still some players who enjoyed it. Reddit users u/ZenTheCrusader and u/Saffronation shared their appreciation for the silly design of the skin and how it has slowly grown on them.

Moreover, Reddit user u/DownToZZZ proposed that this attire was created by Epic Games to portray a person with autism. This sparked a reaction from Reddit user u/BlackICEE32oz, who conveyed that while some may find the design humorous, it still serves as a small stride towards inclusivity. Their statement implies that they purchased the skin for its symbolic significance.

How to Unlock the Aubrey Skin in Fortnite?

The Aubrey skin was first introduced in Chapter 5 Season 2 and is a part of the Detonator set, classified as a Rare Outfit. Despite this, it is mistakenly categorized as a member of the Stygian Boatman set, which includes the Charon skin.

If you’re interested in obtaining the Aubrey skin, you have the option to buy it for 1200 V-Bucks. Along with its appearance in Battle Royale, this skin also includes a LEGO Minifigure design that can be utilized in the LEGO Fortnite game mode and other LEGO UEFN experiences.
