Wheels are essential elements in the construction of vehicles in LEGO Fortnite. They come in a variety of types and sizes, each with a specific function. To obtain wheels, one must participate in specific activities. This entails gathering the required materials to create the desired type of wheel. With the suitable resources on hand, you can create the exact type of wheel you want.
Crafting is not a very complicated task, and its success depends on whether you have gathered all the required resources. A new update called Mechanical Mayhem was recently added to LEGO Fortnite, which includes the addition of Turnable Wheels.
Supplies Needed to Create LEGO Fortnite Wheels

- Flexwoods
- Flexwood Rods
- Lumber Mill
To obtain Flexwood, you must harvest Cactus plants found in the Desert Biome. Crafting Flexwood Rods requires the use of a Lumber Mill, which in turn requires Eight pieces of Wood and 15 pieces of Granite. Once you have gathered the necessary materials, return to your base and use the Crafting Bench to learn the recipe for the Lumber Mill. Once the Lumber Mill is crafted, you will then have access to the recipe for Flexwood Rods. Keep in mind that it takes two pieces of Flexwood to create one Flexwood Rod.
With the required crafting materials in possession, it is now time to create the wheels. The procedure for crafting each type of wheel is outlined below:
- Small Wheels: 1 Flexwood Rod and 1 Flexwood
- Large Wheels: 1 Flexwood Rod and 2 Flexwood
Please be aware that there are just two categories of regular wheels: Small and Large. Once you have obtained Flexwood, you can use the Lumber Mill to create Flexwood Rods, which will grant you access to the wheel crafting recipes. Simply navigate to the Toys Menu, find the desired recipe, and press and hold the designated action button to obtain the wheels.
Creating Functional Wheels in LEGO Fortnite

These wheels allow for the driver to change the direction of their vehicle directly from the driver’s seat. In order to craft Turnable Wheels, players will need to gather Wooden Rods, Cords, Frostpine, and Woods. For a Small Turnable Wheel, players will need one Wooden Rod, one Wood, and two Cords.
To construct a Medium Turnable Wheel, you will need one Flexwood Rod, two Flexwood pieces, and two Cords. For a Large Turnable Wheel, the necessary materials are one Frostpine Rod, four Frostpine pieces, and two Cords.

To create a Small Wheel in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need one Wooden Rod and one piece of Wood. For a Medium Wheel, the necessary materials are two Flexwood pieces and one Flexwood Rod. To craft a Large Powered Wheel, you’ll need one Frostpine Rod and four Frostpine pieces.
Craft both Turnable Wheels and Powered Wheels by accessing the Toys Menu and gathering the required materials. Initiate the crafting process and your desired wheels will be ready for action in LEGO Fortnite in no time.
