Specifically, you will be collecting a variety of essential materials such as plants, insects, fish, and precious ores like Novacrystal.
Discovering Novacrystal in Monster Hunter Wilds
Novacrystal can be obtained from Mining Nodes, which are indicated by blue mining icons on your in-game map. While the precise drop rates from these Mining Nodes remain unconfirmed, we can provide you with confirmed locations where players have successfully found Novacrystal.
The following spots are known for yielding Novacrystal:
- Oilwell Basin – Area 16
- Scarlet Forest – Area 8
- Windward Plains – Area 17
Particularly in Windward Plains – Area 17, you’ll encounter a Mining Node positioned next to a narrow gap beneath some rocks. If you crawl through this gap and continue your ascent, you will uncover several more Mining Nodes. However, it’s important to note that the Seikret cannot pass through this small opening, requiring you to navigate this section solo.
