KFC and Honkai: Star Rail Team Up for Exclusive Crossover Event in China

KFC has announced an exciting collaboration with the popular game Honkai: Star Rail, set to launch on January 17, 2025. Unlike the previous promotional event that focused more broadly on the game, this year’s campaign specifically highlights beloved playable characters Yaoqing, featuring Jiaoqiu and Feixiao. Exclusive Merchandise and Combos to Celebrate the Campaign

Fans can look forward to a variety of exclusive merchandise, including collectible badges and festive red envelopes. Additionally, KFC will offer two special combo meals during the Honkai: Star Rail promotion.

New Year Combo

The first combo, priced at 60 CNY ($8.20), is designed to celebrate the New Year. This combo includes:

• Acrylic straps featuring Feixiao and Jiaoqiu
• An in-game sticker
• A smartphone wallpaper
• A spicy sauce item with a detailed recipe

Standard Combo Offering

The second combo, available for 42 CNY ($5.75), features a meal that includes a burger, an egg tart, and a drink. This combo is reminiscent of McDonald’s Happy Meals, offering one of four surprise toys, all themed around Lunar New Year festivities. The toys include:

• Pom-Pom
• Diting
• Wubbawoo
• Owlbert

Please note that customers cannot select their toy; each choice is a delightful surprise!

Additional Promotions and Activities

Though not included in any combo, customers who order a latte between January 17 and February 2, 2025, can score a free coffee sleeve and mug. The mug features Moze, while the sleeve sports Feixiao’s design. Furthermore, a food cart featuring Jiaoqiu and Feixiao standees will pop up in locations throughout China from January 19 to 25, 2025, with participating KFC outlets showcasing these characters during the promotional period.
