The “Abyss of Fate” situates itself in Janusopolis, ruled once by the Titan of Passage—a deity capable of controlling travel’s gates. In the aftermath of conflict, this land has transformed into a desolate wasteland, forever suspended in the gothic contrast between Dawn and Evernight.

Navigating through Janusopolis presents significant challenges due to its fluctuating time dimensions. Players can manipulate these timelines using the Miracle Book, as numerous puzzles only emerge during specific eras. Besides the usual chests and challenges, visitors can engage in mini-games such as the Golden Scapegoat. Below, we will discuss all five Golden Scapegoat puzzles and offer strategies for resolving each.

Puzzle 1: Janusopolis Golden Scapegoat

To begin this puzzle, teleport to the Destiny’s Desolation Space Anchor. Proceed along the path leading inward, a familiar route from the Trailblaze quest. If you missed the Golden Scapegoat here, remember to activate a Miracle with the Miracle Book to shift to Dawn for it to appear. Follow these directional steps:

Puzzle 2: Janusopolis Golden Scapegoat

For this second Golden Scapegoat puzzle, teleport to the Everdream Gate Space Anchor and navigate to the inner chamber containing the significant justice scale used in the Trailblaze quest. The Golden Scapegoat awaits on your left at the same floor level. Again, employ your Miracle Book to switch the time to Dawn.

Next, follow the hallway on the left, pivot right, and approach the Golden Scapegoat concealed behind an enemy. Utilize Oronyx’s rewind ability to fix the bridge before proceeding. Here are the detailed steps:

This puzzle is also available during Dawn and is located behind a central doorway at a lower level. Upon entering the room, turn right to descend the first flight of stairs. Continue straight ahead, then turn right toward the Miracle Orb. Activate it, rotating it left to illuminate the boxes obstructing the central stairs.

Afterwards, ascend the stairs on your right to reach the area behind. The steps for this puzzle include:

Teleport to the Silent Shroud Space Anchor, then head down the stairs to your right. Pass through the door and navigate the corridor to discover this area. Engage with nearby mechanisms, but first, be sure to collect the Blessing behind you. Activate Oronyx’s rewind power to maneuver the broken pillars. After reaching the corridor’s end, proceed through the door to access the puzzle. The steps to solve it are:
