In the captivating world of Hollow Knight: Silksong, players encounter a myriad of items designed to enhance survival in the harsh environments dominated by bugs. Among these valuable items are crests, equippable artifacts that offer various substantial perks, powers, or buffs, critical for navigating the game’s challenging landscapes.

One crest you won’t want to overlook is the Warding Bell. This powerful item significantly improves your early-game survivability, making it essential for players looking to thrive in the perilous regions of the game. Locating the Warding Bell Crest

The Warding Bell can be found deep within the Far Fields. If you’re uncertain about how to reach this area, it’s the place you enter right after defeating the character Lace. After conquering her, you’ll transition from the Deep Docks and arrive in the Far Fields. Proceed to the right until you access a large room, which is the key location for this quest.

If you have previously visited the Far Fields and are still searching for the Warding Bell, your journey should begin at the fast travel point, conveniently located near a bench for recuperation.

Once outside the fast travel area, descend to the bottom of the vertical chamber. Exercise caution here, as there’s a lava pit that poses a very real threat. Jumping carelessly can lead to an untimely demise in flames.

Upon reaching the bottom, make your way through the door to the left. Be alert for any threats from the large flying enemy outside this entrance, as they can deal considerable damage.

Venture inside to find a dimly lit, narrow corridor that may appear empty at first glance. However, jump in the brightly lit spot to grab the ledge and climb to an upper room.

You can defeat the small enemy at the lower end of this space, but your main objective is to scout the top of the room where you’ll encounter a bug corpse. Here, you will be prompted to “Take”an item.

This is the coveted Warding Bell. At this stage of the game, you’ll likely want to head back to a bench right away to equip it, enhancing your gameplay experience significantly.

As players, we often find ourselves in dire situations in Silksong, particularly when trying to heal during combat. The Warding Bell removes the inherent risks associated with healing, offering a safety net during a critical moment.
